Infinite Fusion
In Schrroms's fan-made adventure game Infinite Fusion, players can combine various Pokémon to produce new species. The game expands on the concept of the Pokémon Fusion online application with additional gaming features and a story.
The attributes of Infinite Fusion include:
- Fusion System: By fusing two distinct Pokémon, players can create a completely new species. Their elemental characteristics and techniques can also be combined. At Pokémarts, players can buy DNA Splicers, which expedite the fusion process.
- Pokémon Availability: The game features every Pokémon from Generations I and II, including all of its evolutions. Additionally, it adds 101 brand-new Pokémon species from Generations III through VII, providing players with a vast array of Pokémon to mix and match.
- While completing the gym leader challenge and gaining 16 badges, players can explore the Kanto and Johto regions. The Kanto area also has additional sites to explore, which improves the overall gameplay.
- Players can take part in postgame content after finishing the main story. This requires going to the Sevii Islands and participating in Johto-related activities. For rewards and challenges, players can complete more cities, puzzles, and sidequests. Players can also catch 25 Legendary Pokémon in the postgame.
- Customization: Players can give the Pokémon they catch a name from the in-game menu, allowing them to give their team a special name.
- Narrative and Subquests: Over 40 NPC-provided subquests provide depth to the setting and story by extending the in-game narrative.
- After beating an NPC, players have the option to trade with them or challenge them to more difficult fights. In the game's combat-focused locations, such as the Triple Battle Lounge and Battle Factory, players can advance their skills. A Classic Mode and a Randomizer Mode are also available for different gameplay conditions.
- Additional features in Infinite Fusion include a Speed Up button, a Day/Night cycle that runs independently of the real-time clock, and a Reversed Mode that reverses the order of trainer fusions.
