Wordle is a fun game, this is a very basic game with many lines of letters like other word puzzle games.

Josh Wardle, a software programmer based in Brooklyn who has earned a reputation for designing intriguing social experiments, invented this amazing game, a daily word game. A new word puzzle is presented to internet users every day that must be solved (or not!) utilizing a sequence of process-of-elimination clues.

It works as follows: When you enter the Wordle website, you are welcomed by a grid of empty, white boxes that is 5 broad by 6 long. You can guess the solution by inputting a five-letter word and clicking Enter because each box can only store one letter.

Since there are no hints at the start, any five-letter word will do as a first guess. That is where Wordle really gets going. The color of the box for each letter changes when you send a guess.

• If it becomes green, you've positioned the letter correctly and it is present in the daily word.
• If it becomes yellow, the letter is present in the word but is misplaced.
• The letter isn't in the word at all if the box turns gray.

How to play Wordle

Every guess has to be a real, five-letter word. Press the enter key to submit.

The color of the tiles will change after each guess to indicate how close your guess was to the word.

• Green: is in the word and in the correct spot.
• Yellow: is in the word but in the wrong spot.
• Gray: is not in the word in any spot.
